Jura wine and cheese class with special guest Kerry Jerred!
For this new class we are bringing in one of the top cheese experts in the upper midwest, Kerry Jerred of Forage to Fromage! Kerry is a Certified Cheese Professional and a cheesemonger by trade, and knows more about the magic of cheese than anyone I know.
We’ll start with an overview of the Jura wine region, which is little known to most. We’ll talk about Savagnin, Poulsard, Trousseau, Chardonnay, Vin Jaune, and much more. We’ll examine the key sub-regions of the area and give you hints and tips for shopping for Jura wines.
Then we’ll dive into the cheese pairings, outlined here by Kerry so you have time to buy some amazing cheeses for the class.
