Costco/Kirkland QPR (quality to price ratio) BEST BUYS!
Costco offers amazing values for the savvy consumer, but in the wine department there are okay buys, there are good buys, and there are BEST BUYS … and it all comes down to the quality to price ratio.
In this new webinar (which we’ll repeat a few times a year) I scoured the Costco wine department and found the current six best buys in the store. These are wines that:
- Should be available nationally based on total production. Not every Costco will carry every selection, but I chose wines that have a good chance at being at your local store.
- Have a MUCH higher price on the average cost in the USA nationally via WineSearcher as compared to Costco.
- Have inherent bang-for-the-buck based on vintage, producer, and over two decades of my knowledge following the wine business.
We’ll reveal the six best buys in the webinar, taste through them, and explain exactly why they are on the list.
As always, no specific wines are needed to have to enjoy the class. We teach on the model of “learn today to shop smarter tomorrow.” Enjoy a glass or two of anything you wish while learning. (Even a beer if you wish … don’t worry, we won’t tell anyone.)
The Wine Workshops are designed to be a fast infusion of wine knowledge, taught by one of the most experienced wine educators in the country, certified sommelier Jason Kallsen along with his wife Angela. When properly and clearly explained, wine does not need to be intimidating.
