Cellaring Wine, and How Best to Enjoy It: October 3, 2020

Saturday, October 3, 2020
7:00 pm central time

Why cellar wine? What makes for a great cellar? How best to enjoy an older bottle of wine?

All of these questions and more will be covered in this new class, giving you the tools to build a great wine collection and age your wines perfectly. We will be popping some old wines from our cellar during the live webinar to help with our discussion.

No wines are required to taste along with the class, but it sure makes it more fun. You’ll get specific suggestions on wines upon purchase of the workshop.

Pop a bottle! It’s time for Cellaring Wines: Why and How Best to Enjoy It.

Here’s the truth: most wine is not meant to be aged. But the few wines that are meant to lay down for years can turn into majestic examples, bringing flavors to the forefront that are impossible to achieve otherwise. In this new class, we’ll cover the how’s and the why’s of cellaring wine: how to pick the right wines, how to know when to drink them, how to store them correctly, and how best to enjoy them.

As part of this special class, we will be popping some aged gems from our own cellar, live during the webinar, and analyzing them on air.

The Wine Workshops are designed to be a fast infusion of wine knowledge, taught by one of the most experienced wine educators in the country, certified sommelier Jason Kallsen. When properly and clearly explained, wine does not need to be intimidating. Which of course makes it much more fun.

We hope you can join us for the Cellaring Wine and How Best to Enjoy It.
