The Eyrie Celebration! With special guest live from Oregon: assistant winemaker Amy McCandlish-Esper!
On February 22, 1965 the wine world changed forever. That was the date of the first plantings of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris in Willamette Valley, Oregon. David Lett was the visionary that many declared to be crazy in his thinking that Willamette Valley could produce great Pinot Noir.
Obviously, David was right.
Join us for our annual Eyrie Celebration, telling the story of The Eyrie Vineyards, viewing historic photos, and tasting through a number of selections. Joining us will be special guest and assistant winemaker at The Eyrie Vineyards, Amy McCandlish-Esper!
The Wine Workshops are designed to be a fast infusion of wine knowledge, taught by one of the most experienced wine educators in the country, certified sommelier Jason Kallsen. When properly and clearly explained, wine does not need to be intimidating. Which of course makes it much more fun.
We hope you can join us for Wine Workshop: The Eyrie Celebration!
