Celebrate Groundhog Day Wine Workshop style!
This class will be in two parts.
Part one is titled “Did the vine see its shadow?” where we will discuss the impact of weather (specifically sunlight vs. clouds vs. fog) on a vineyard system, plus and overview of where vines are in their growth cycle during this season. Part two is titled “Wine repetition” where we will explore what a wine is like vintage after vintage after vintage, plus a discussion on professional wine judging and palate fatigue when tasting wines over and over.
No wines are required to taste along with the class, but pop anything you like and share it in the chat!
The Wine Workshops are designed to be a fast infusion of wine knowledge, taught by one of the most experienced wine educators in the country, certified sommelier Jason Kallsen. When properly and clearly explained, wine does not need to be intimidating. Which of course makes it much more fun.
