Pop a bottle! It’s time for Vegan, Vegetarian, Organic, and Biodynamic!


Vegan, Vegetarian, Organic, and Biodynamic! A new wine class to discuss wines, vine growing, food pairing, and more.

This class is in two parts. Part one will focus on the growing of vines and the making of wines, explaining how different wines fall into these different categories. We’ll explore farming systems, what makes a wine vegan (or not!), and how to shop better as a consumer when it come to these wines.

Part two is all about wine and food pairing, specifically pairing wines with vegetarian and vegan dishes. We’ll discuss why this is so different from meat-based pairings, key grape varieties to shop for, and some awesome recipes and wine pairings that will blow you away!

The Wine Workshops are designed to be a fast infusion of wine knowledge, taught by one of the most experienced wine educators in the country, certified sommelier Jason Kallsen. When properly and clearly explained, wine does not need to be intimidating. Which of course makes it much more fun.
